Recap of 12-21-09

We had a great night at Celebrate Recovery Monday night. It began with another chili cook off. Ron was the winner and revealed his secret ingredient, chocolate!! The worship team praised with all their hearts and the Christmas carols sung without instruments were a beautiful noise unto the Lord. The Spirit was surely felt. Shawn brought us the message on the 7 things that keep people stuck and from growing in the Lord. He did a super job and shared many of his own experiences with us. We had a planning meeting during small group time for those people who are serving for BCCR New Year's Eve/Day Bash. We are getting geared up and appreciate all the support from the church and our beloved pastor and his family who plan on joining us in the celebration! We are having the event from 6 PM New Year's Eve to 8 AM New Year's Day.
